Meet The Founder Ross
On August 29, 2022, my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with an Ependymoma, a rare tumor that turned my world upside down. The months that followed were filled with surgery, and uncertainty—but also a deep appreciation for every moment, every meal, every connection with the people I love.
Through it all, I found healing not just in medicine, but in the simple act of creating. While recovering, I turned to the kitchen as my therapy. That’s where I discovered the art (and science) of sourdough pizza.
What started as a distraction became an obsession. Working with dough mirrored my own journey—patience, resilience, and transformation over time. I learned that fermentation, like healing, can’t be rushed. It takes care, balance, and trust in the process.
Now, three years later, pizza isn’t just food for me—it’s a symbol of survival, creativity, and joy. Every blistered crust, every leopard-spotted pie, every shared meal is a reminder of how far I’ve come.
My story isn’t just about facing a diagnosis—it’s about rising from it with a stronger spirit, a deeper appreciation for life, and a newfound purpose: sharing sourdough pizza, as it was meant to be.
